After learning how to use the silkscreen printing process on porcelain, Laurine's interest shifted to different types of pottery.
Learning another ancient craft is always something that attracts her, as she is passionate about preserving traditional crafts.
Laurine realized that you can express your creativity through pottery. And that is essential to expanding who we are and how we connect with ourselves and our environment.
For Cake's items she used a ceramic molding technique for pottery called slip casting. This technique is used for forms that cannot be easily made on a wheel.
